Personal blog of Matthias M. Fischer
Hello, World!

About this blog and about me
I am Matthias M. Fischer, a PhD student in theoretical biology from Berlin, Germany. You are reading the very first post of my personal blog. I intend to use this blog primarily to talk about things I have learned about or worked on, which I found interesting or cool. In this way, it is also intended to serve as a personal 'archive' of some sort.
Some topics (in no particular order) you can expect to find here in the future include:
- Statistics (including statistical theory), data analysis, and general data science projects of mine
- Scientific data visualisation
- Differential equation modelling, especially of biological phenomena
- Programming and software development / engineering
- Random thoughts on things I read somewhere else
As you can see in the header, for the moment the blog still lacks a witty title -- something I hope to rectify in the very near future ;).
